The Ivy for lunch

I've heard it's pricey but the atmosphere is worth it. Any thoughts? What does one wear to the Ivy for lunch?

I'm assuming you mean THE Ivy, the one in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood on Robertson. I've been there several times. It is overpriced. It has a lot of attitude. It can be too crowded. You can encounter rude and abrupt service. But it is worth it anyway! At least once. I think I'm now over it. If you star-gaze, it's prime ground. The whole place fell apart one day when Barbra entered, used to be a regular spot for her, not sure if it still is. The food really is excellent, despite the high prices. Their chopped salad is wonderful if you can ignore the price.
Wear your trendiest clothes -- lots of women in hats I noticed last time.
