Teton Village Anyone??
We will be visiting Yellowstone in June of this year. Our reservations will be in the Teton Village. Does anyone know how far it will be to Yellostone South entrance from there? We will be at a Best Western. Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Its about 50 miles to the south entrance, which meansit will take you about 1.5 hrs to get there if traffic isn't heavy (and a moose doesn't decide to hog the middle of the road for 30 mins )
Which means about 2 to 4 hours to get to your destination inside Yellowstone, and thats 1-way! Check if you can stil get lodging inside the park (theres nothing like it). If not, you'll have fun anyway!

Hello! We stayed in Teton Village last fall, but it was in one of the condos. We love the village because it's away from all the tourists. The summer season is pretty quiet in the village, but not in town.
Haven't stayed at the BW, but it has a good location right near the slopes (of course, in June you won't be skiing, but it's near the tram for your summer hiking or viewing).
As far as getting into and out of Yellowstone, it will take you a good hour and a half or so to get there (and then back as well). We've done that but wished we had stayed in Yellowstone instead. If your plan is to focus on Yellowstone, I'd suggest staying up that way. Yellowstone is really big, and to add 3 hours driving each day isn't how I'd want to spend my cherished vacation days.
Each place has its own beauty. It would be nice if you could stay in Yellowstone to see Yellowstone, and in Teton Village to see the Tetons, etc.
Last year, we stayed in West Yellowstone in a very nice Holiday Inn for 3 nights, then went on to Jackson for another 4. No shortage of things to do wherever you end up.
Happy travels!
