Sunny & warm in late March w/no car
I may be going solo on a trip with my younger high school daughter (and possible one of her friends) this spring as my husband cannot get off work.
We would like to go somewhere sunny and warm and safe in the U.S. (not Mexico) but I do not want to rent a car. We've done Disney and may do that again but would like to try something else.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

How warm do you want? Do you want t-shirts and capri pants weather, swim suit weather, or just someplace where you don't have to wear your coat?
If you want t-shirt and capri pants weather, then San Diego comes to mind. You wont be swiming in the ocean that time of year - although it might be warm enough for a heated hotel pool. Downtown is really close to the airport and Coronado Island is a short ferry or cab ride from downtown, so you wouldn't have to rent a car.

I think in March the best places to head would either be Florida or the desert areas. Tucson would be nice but you would need a car. You could get by without a car in Palm Springs if you stay right downtown Palm Springs. You can walk to restaurants and shops.
As for San Diego-I would also be wearing a jacket and long pants!!
