My 3 girls, ages 12,13,15 are all dancers. They would love to take a dance class (ballet, jazz or contemporary) while in NYC. Any schools that would have a "pay by the class" for girls this age? I have heard of Steps on Broadway but I don't know anything about it other than looking over their website. My girls are also open to a workshop or guest teacher "one day" type of thing. We will be in NYC (staying at Radio City Apt), Feb. 10-16.
Studio for "one time dance class" while in NYC?

You can try Broadway Dance Center on West 45th Street, near Times Square. There are classes for teens. Here's their explanation for teen drop-in classes:
What age should you be to take our drop-in classes?
Our drop-in class schedule allows for students ages 13 and up. If it is your first time to the studio, we ask that you call first for advice as to class selection. Some instructors are more amenable to having younger students in class than others. We aslo offer a wonderful, nurturing Children & Teen Program (CTP) for students ages 3 to 18. The CTP Saturday and Sunday, September-June.
Here's the website. I'm not affiliated with the dance studio. I took a drop-in class there myself (African dance) and loved it. The classes are cheap too.
