Hi,
I was wondering if there were any shopping malls/outlets along the jersey shore to hit !
I love to shop, especially on vacation !!
Are there any malls/outlets to hit along the jersey shore (I guess that would be area of cape may/wildwood/ocean city)..
ps. keep in mind , i do not the this area at all....

One thing Jersey is not lacking is shopping malls. I am not very familiar with south Jersey, but the central shore area - Point Pleasant to Seaside is virtually ALL malls once you get away from the immediate coast. Bricktown NJ (just outside of Point Pleasant), has more strip malls than anywhere else I've seen in the entire world.

I am only familiar with the northern shore There is a large outlet mall near Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson (just off I 195). Large malls in Monmouth County are Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold(Rte.9) and Monmouth Mall in Eatontown (rte 35 & 36). There is a small outlet mall in Wall on Rte. 35 near Sea Girt.

I would strongly recommend the DE suggestion. The Ferry ride can be very enjoyable (if not cheap) and the outlets good in DE. If time allows, end your day at the "Mall" in Cape May.It can get yucky but the Hamilton Mall is nearby and any of the locals can tell you where to exit on the Garden State Parkway north.

I know you mentioned outlets, but if you want a unique shopping experience go into Stone Harbor. Nothing is cheap (except at Hoy's, a fun 5 & dime) but the town is filled with boutiques carrying clothes, gifts, and artwork.
The ferry has shopping excursions to the outlets so that you don't have to drive your car. Check the web site www.capemaylewesferry.com
