Salisbury Hotel or Radio City Apartments?
Hi,
I need to decide between one of these 2 hotels. I've been delegated to make reservations for a reunion of sorts for 5 females. Best prices I could find for 5 per room (suite). Salisbury ($349.99) Radio City (315.00 plus tax etc.)We will be going to theatre so I guess location does matter although walking not a problem. Cleanliness is a top priority..Thanks

A few years ago I checked out the Radio City Apartments and I was rather appalled at the condition of the rooms. I mean, Goodwill would refuse this furniture if they tried to give it to them.
But it did appear clean.
Have you looked at trip advisor? There are literally over a hundred reviews of each of these and they run pretty similar. The one most amazing thing is that even those who say the rooms themselves were horrible or dated or ugly, still almost always say they were VERY clean -- both hotels.

We have stayed ar Radio City every year for the last few years. "Basic but adequate" would sum it up, but the location is great and we had no issues with the cleanliness of the apartment - my only minor irritation was the lack of an electric toaster for breakfast!

Salisbury is probably "fancier". Are both available? Both are well located and convenient, you would be fine at either.
Neo, your assessment from "a few years ago" really isn't fair; RCA has undergone renovations over the past year with new carpeting, new furniture, paint, renovations to the bath etc. No, it is NOT the Four Seasons, but it really isn't the dump you portrait it to be. If someone is on a budget there really isn't a good reason to dis this.
