Restaurant in Kennebunkport
Looking for a restaurant suggesting in Kennebunkport for a birthday dinner. We plan to go low key most of our trip, but one night we'd like to treat ourselves to a fun/nice dinner for a birthday celebration. Any suggestions??? Thanks!!!

Arrows and White Barn are the go to places - both highend. If you don't want to go that high end, I am a huge fan of Joshua's in Wells. Farm raised produce perfectly prepared is the bonus and a lovely old farmhouse atmosphere. I also loved 98 Provence in Ogunquit, but it has been a few years.
If you take a ride to Perkin's Cove, the lobster trap shack chili dog is a great - for super casual. Mikes Clamshack has a pretty decent sportsbar thing going on with usually excellent fried food and an extended menu.

I will add to your list. Bandaloop, right in Dock Square (up the stairs)is a chef run, open kitchen, intriguing place with delicious food. Casual to funky.
Pier 77 in Cape Porpoise is beautiful and simple.
Both are not as pricey or "grand" as the White Barn or Arrows
