NYC-Online Tools to Map Routes to Desired Destinations ?

Hello all Web-Savvy Fodors Travellers,
Is there an app or site that lets you plug in multiple desired destinations in NYC and map out the most efficient route in which to get to them from my hotel?

Thank you.

maps.google.com will also work, though hopstop.com seems to maintain better up-to-date subway rerouting for weekend service changes.

The MTA website also has a trip planner. http://tripplanner.mta.info/MyTrip/u...ipplanner.aspx

Ask any NY'er. Even if they do not know how to get wherever you are going they will have an opinion.

Please be aware that efficient may be walking, cab, or taking the subway. It depends on when, where, and the weather.

hopstop.com is the best since it gives you options of different means of travel - foot, public transit or cab. But be aware that subway track work is done on weekends - and the best place to get that info is on the local news station - NY1 News - TV or online.
