Need suggestions for surprise South Beach weekend

Wow, I can't believe it is almost December, which means the surprise trip I booked in September for my husband's 30th b-day is now only three weeks away. Better get planning!

I've booked a room at the Crowne Plaza on South Beach...hope it is good, because I got it through Priceline...and now need restaurant and entertainment suggestions. In particular, I looking for:

- A fun place to grab dinner and drinks when we arrive at Friday around 11 p.m.
- Ideas for what to do during the day on Saturday and Sunday
- A hip people watching place for drinks on Saturday night
- Unforgettable restaurants with the perfect blend of unique South Beach atmosphere and gourmet food for romantic upscale dinners on Saturday and Sunday nights (great seafood is a plus!)

Help me give my husband a weekend to remember.

Thanks for your help!
Colleen

Fun place for dinner and drinks Friday night: Rumi

Things to do during the day Saturday and Sunday: Either hit the beach, the great pool at the Royal Palm Crown Plaza, or shop Lincoln Road, Collins Road below 14th Street, and Washington Avenue.

Hip place for drinks Saturday night: Sky Bar at The Shore Club and Mansion.

Unforgettable Restaurant: Dine outdoors at Whish at The Hotel. Make sure you go to the rooftop poolbar before hand for the best mojito in South Beach.

Great people watching: The Delano either the lobby (trust me on this one) or the outside pool bar.

If there are celebs in town you'll either see them at the Delano, Manion, or Sky Bar at The Shore Club.

Get passes from your concierge.

I loved the Royal Palm. Be sure to sign up for a Priority Club card, we were upgraded to a full ocean front upon check in, even through a Priceline reservation. If you ask the concierge at the hotel, there is a restaurant that will pick you up and take you back to the hotel in a free stretch limo. I think the restaurant was called Soprano's. It was outside restaurant, great king crab legs. The food was very good, and around $50 per person. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! They sound wonderful and are making me so excited for our trip.

A few other places that have been suggested to me - Barton G's, The Forge, Tantra. Do you have any comments on these? How do they compare to the aforementioned suggestions?
