Need Hotel in Honolulu
Can anyone recommend a nice (but not luxury) hotel in Honolulu for a couple in their 70's, only there 2 nights, close to transportation and eateries, continental breakfast would be nice, price up to $150 per night? Thanks!

I would look into the Ala Moana Hotel - it's across the street from our largest mall - Ala Moana - there's a bus stop right in front. Also, you can walk across the street to Ala Moana and there's a food court, Jackie Chan's, California PIzza Kitchen, etc. It's away from Waikiki but you can walk to Ala Moana Beach. I don't know how much the rooms are going for but it's a pretty moderate hotel. Hope this helps!

Email me ([email protected]) with the dates of your stay in November. I may be able to offer a studio condo with a kitchen at a very good price, depending on your dates.

I wondered where this went!! Here it is again:
Message: There are only two hotels near the airport:
Honolulu Airport Hotel www.Honoluluairporthotel.com
or Best Western- The Plaza Hotel www.bestwesternhonolulu.com
Neither is very nice, but they are decent.

I would be aware of those who try to advertise here. Did you notice this post below and above?

The Breakers & The Hawaiiana Hotel on Beach Walk are nice. No breakfast but lots of inexpensive places nearby and the rooms are in the price you're looking for. These are both low-rise, low-key 60's-style places side by side about 2 blocks in off Waikiki.

We recently stayed at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki (formerly Waikiki Terrace), newly renovated it's nice & quiet. They had a $115 rate recently, don't know if it's still available. Restaurant, incl breakfast,(Keo's) right across the street.
