Tammy,
Be sure and determine WHAT TYPE of Luau you want. The Feast at Lele is good, and showcases the various island influences in the Pacific. The Old Lahaina Luau is more JUST Hawaii's own stuff. The one's at the Marriott are really good, but pretty expensive. Be sure and get a bunch of coupon books at the airport. BE SURE that youo challenge a vendor who may help book you. They often, as we found, will match prices, or offer a freebie to go with booking one or more events through them. Lastly, the snorkel dives to Molokini, Turtle Town, Lanai and Coral Gardens are fine, but I found three FREE places that were equally great: 1) Black Rock at the base of the Sheraton Maui, Napili Cove, and D.T. Fleming Beach. Actually, my favorite, was when I walked South along the beach from our hotel, the Aston Kaanapali Shores, three properties to the beach zone that has trees lining it. Right in front of the newly being developed Westin property, there is a BEAUTIFUL coral garden there. The water is crystal clear, and there are as many fish and turtles aas I saw anywhere else!! Good luck.

For example, we got a free snorkel dive to the Coral Gardens with a Parasail through Boss Frogs. I highly recommend: http://www.prideofmaui.com
They take day and sunset trips to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. Lots of marine life and turtles. Great family experience.
