LV warm in mid-March?

I've been to Las Vegas many times, but always in Summer. What kind of weather could I expect in mid-March? I've looked at the temp averages on line but was wondering if anyone has more specific info? Long sleeves? Pool weather? Thanks

I was in Las Vegas in march 2 years ago. During the daytime it's warm enough to wear shorts, but keep along sleeves with you. At night, you need pants and a light jacket.

I was in Vegas 4 day in mid-February. 2 days were hot, people suntanning by the pool. Next 2 days were so cold, a sweater was needed, and it was even colder in the mornings - needed a windbreaker. There is a website www.weather.com - the only one I know to show the weather for 10 days.

I think it can be "hit or miss", but it is usually too cold to swim.

I was there last March and the March a few years before that. Although it looked warm outside it was windy and that breeze was cool. So I sat by the pool fully clothed and slightly uncomfortable (on the cold side) and ended up wearing light pants, tee and an overshirt. That way if the wind died down and it got warm, I just took off the overshirt to be comfortable.
