Lodging-Legoland

My son and I will be going to Legoland in Carlsbad at the end of March. We usually stay in San Diego, but this trip is only 2 days and it will be centered around Legoland. Any hotel suggestions?

Well, here's a link to a map that is centered on LegoLand, with hotels marked around it.

Looks like Grand Pacific Palisades Resort‎ is physically closest, and looks as tho it runs on the more expensive side.

There's a Hilton Garden Inn, across from the beach, and it's 1 mile from Lego Land.

Hope that helps!

We stayed at the Grand Pacific Palisades several years ago and it was very nice then and probably still is.
There is a Holiday Inn quite close to Legoland as well as the GPP and Hilton Garden Inn. Location-wise, the Holiday Inn is preferable to the Hilton because there are restaurants and a nice outlet mall to which you can easily walk.

We have stayed in Carlsbad many times at the Residence Inn. It's only about 5 minutes from Legoland. It's very nice, great rooms , nice breakfast. We are staying there again this weekend.

any place in Carlsbad would not be too far away. I suggest you might want to stay near the beach.
