JFK or LaGuardia? If staying at Brooklyn Bridge Marriott

Going to a conferecne at Marriott--Looking at map it looks like JFK is closer--Or does it really matter if taking a taxi anyway?

Doesn't really matter either way. Fly into whichever gives you better fare or better connections.

Just don't fly into Newark.

I agree .. either one .. taxi ride from LGA probably a little shorter, but it depends on traffic . . .

I suspect that the taxi ride from LGA in much shorter than from JFK. At least this is the case to go from the airports to the Prospect Park Expressway.

If you check out the distances on both on maps.google.com LGA is much closer (19 miles for JFK vs. 10 for LGA) but it's still not worth chosing LGA over JFK if there's a much cheaper fare.

If there's a fare cheaper than $20, because that is the difference between the taxi fare from the two airports to downtown Brooklyn.
