How dressy is W Palm Beach Four Seasons?
Heading there this week. Is it casual, a la Caribbean, hotel at the beach, or is it more formal, in keeping with Boca Raton, old money Florida? Is dinner with jacket, dress shoes, or can I wear sandals with non-jeans pants? Thanksgiving dinner at the Four Seasons- jacket?

Boca Raton "old money"???? You been down here lately?
A jacket is never out of place down here in a nicer restaurant. Sandals? Decent dress shoes ditto the jacket.
Just don't get all pissed off if not everybody is dressed as you are.

It is casual but folks will be nicely dressed. For thanksgiving lunch I'd say a jacket wound be good. Not required, but good.
I love the 4S there. We went in July for many years. IMO the Breakers was more pretentious. I loved the casual elegance of the 4S.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't take a jacket, and felt quite at ease. Thanksgiving brunch at 4S was good, but underwhelming. I expected more- more food, more fancy, more decorated for the holiday/s, more special.
Overall, we were a bit disappointed with the Four Seasons. It is clearly a nice hotel, but it is NOT in West Palm Beach. It is in Lake Worth, 15 min south, in a very unremarkable area. Generic south Florida condos surround it. Their strengths are the outstanding customer service, and the Kids For All Seasons does a great job for the kids. The fatal flaw is location, and bland structure which is clearly a prior condo complex cored out with Four Seasons décor built within.
