Help me with Sonoma Desert….

We are interested in traveling to see the Sonoma desert. It is my husband and my 5-year old daughter and my parents. We like luxury travel but we do want to see the biosphere, Desert Museum, and Sonoma desert. I was thinking of staying at the Ritz Carlton in Dove Mountain, but I wasn't sure whether I was better off in Scottsdale with the Four Seasons or Marriott Camelback.

How many days do you have for your visit? I think the best of the places you mention is the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (SonoRa, not Sonoma which is in California), located in Tucson, not Phoenix/Scottsdale. But it will depend entirely on your priorities and how much time you have.

IF you end up in Scottsdale, the Royal Palms Resort is top notch. Smaller and more intimate, it is luxe at its best.

Oops! Yes, I meant Sonora desert. It sounds like Tucson is the better option.
