Is it worth a visit? I don't have much time in NY was going to cross the Brooklyn Bridge and walk Brooklyn Heights. How far away is Georgetown and do you recommend a visit?

Eks, it could be another real estate term but there is a tiny area near Mill Basin called Georgetown. I grew up in Brooklyn and that is the only thing I can think of. But since I was a kid the real estate interests have changed the name of many areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
In any event, it would be a weird place for a tourist to visit.

Williamsburg is a young, trendy neighborhood. Plenty of places to eat and some fun shopping. Very crowded on the weekends with hipsters. Easy subway ride into manhattan, but I've never tried going there via the Brooklyn bridge.

The Manhattan end of the Williamsburg Bridge is on Delancey Street. The Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge is by City Hall and the Muni Building.
They are about 25-35 walk from each other. You could the J or Z train (They have nothing to do with Beyoncé.) from Delancy and Essex to Chambers STreet.
