Just saw your post. We have stayed at the Homestead and I would recommend it! Lots of great walking and it was very quiet when we were there - once in May and once in October. You'll probably drive to Glen Arbor's "downtown" area which is lovely - shops and restaurants. We've never been to Le Bear.

Have you looked at Old Mission Peninsula. It's a great place to go on a wine tour (7 vineyards); delicious restaurants; you're 15 minutes away from TC. Much easier place to relax, get pampered...and still close to a fun city with lots to offer. Glen Arbor is great, close to beautiful beaches, sand dunes, etc. Too quiet for me to have to spend a week. Bring sweatshirts and jeans too. Might be cold...heck...might be snowing. hahaha

We totally LOVE the Homestead but we take our kids there and really enjoy it! Have never been to Le Bear. Love the town of Glen Arbor too!

Another vote for The Homestead! In addition, they rent bikes and kayaks. I thought it was unique how they had an outdoor GAS firering.
