Enough time between flights?
I really don't know how much time I need. If I get to Honolulu at 3:50 p.m. will I have enough time to get to Aloha Airlines and check in by 5:35. Also my flight home from Honolulu leaves at 8:00p.m. Is 2 hours enough time to get from ALoha AIrline to check in for flight home? Do you have to buy another ticket if you miss your fllight between islands, or if your mainland flight is late?

Thanks, This trip came up suddenly. I didn't know I was going until a few days ago. I'm trying to co-ordinate my flights with family that are going. I couldn't get on the same flight from the states that they are on, but I am a few hours behind them, so I am trying to get my flights as close as I can so that we all end up there close to the same time. We are leaving in 4 weeks so I am trying to get everything taken care of.

I don't think what Ranger said is true in all cases... depends the reason why you miss a flight whether the airline will put you on the next one (their fault) or if you'd have to buy another ticket (your fault).

since the flights are on seperate bookings - if you miss your connection, you are totally on your own. And yes - most likely have to pay for a full price walk-up ticket.
You should be OK - normally those connection times are adequate. But if your Aloha flight is delayed you will have a problem.
