Edgartown Inns
We're planning on staying in Edgartown over the 4th of July and are considering both The Carriage House at The Edgartown Inn and The Carriage House at The Shiretowne Inn. Are they a good choice? Is there another place we should look into?
Thanks,
Annie

Agree with rkkwan that availability is a real issue, but last year we stayed at the Victorian Inn (right on South Water Street)--very nice, great breakfast in their pretty garden and nice folks run it.
Good luck,
Mary
P.S. I don't know if you are bringing a car (and if you don't have a car ferry reservation, you won't be able to get one for the 4th of July), but MV has a great bus system so if Edgartown is booked you can look around for lodging, including up-island.

mersky, did you have a fun Fourth? I've just posted a query about Edgartown places to stay late August Pretty price it seems. What did you pay at Carrige house if I might ask and how was it? What about cars on ferry...better to leave on the mainland?
