Martha's Vineyard B&B recommendation, please

I am interested in a romantic B&B for 4th of July week. I am thinking about either Edgarstown or Vineyard Haven. Oak Bluffs would be okay, as well, as long as it is easy to get to the other areas without a car.

I would appreciate it if you would share your recommendations.

Edgartown is definitely the nicest.....though each town is special in it's own way. You will need transportation to travel from town to town, though there is a bus, or you could always rent a bike!

You'll want to book quickly for July 4th, this is one of the busiest weekends the island sees. I worked at the Shiretown Inn one summer -- perfect location, amazing prices, and the option to have a more luxurious room, or a standard room at an affordable price.

Enjoy!!

Hello MaxnZack,

I tried to find a website for this inn but it did not come up when I did a search. Would you have a web address?

Thanks.

When we went to Martha's Vineyard we stayed at Isabelle's Beach House in Oak Bluffs. It was very nice and right across the street from the beach. You will be able to walk to shops and restaurants and the ferry. Isabelle's has a wonderful front porch-great for sitting in the rocking chairs for a glass of wine or to eat your breakfast out there. The breakfast that was included was very good.

The Charlotte Inn in Edgartown is a special place. The price is high but the experience will never be forgotten!
