If you are just buying tickets, the price is the same everywhere. The only savings is if you buy tickets as part of a room package. In that case, you want to buy the tickets when you make the room reservations.
Otherwise, purchase where it is convenient to you. Don't stand in line at the park. Purchase from AAA or Disney Store, doesn't matter.

Check out www.mousesavers.com to find out about ticket discounts. There ARE discounts available. I purchased through undercover tourist on my last trip.

You might also want to consider that the average cost per visit changes when you buy a multi-day ticket.
I believe a one-day Park Hopper is $61. I don't recall the level of discount but we found it was about $8 less per "use" if we purchased a 7 day Park Hopper (with the no expiration feature.)

AAA has discounts on 3 day or longer WDW tickets for non-FL residents. AAA Discounts for FL residents are better.
