Cleveland/University Circle restaurants
Can anyone recommend a good, casual restaurant for lunch after a morning at the Cleveland Museum of Art? Would it be too far or difficult to walk to any of the restaurants in Little Italy? Thanks.

If walking from the museum, I'd recommend Sergios for lunch. They only serve lunch M-F. I've gone there dressed very casually but their food is rather upscale.
I think it's too far to walk to Little Italy.
If you like mexican. There's a great casual place called Mi Pueblo on Euclid Ave. Also too far of a walk.

I do realize the original post is rather old, but FYI.
While most of CMA is closed, there is currently a special photograph exhibit happening. Also, through mid August, a great Ansel Adams exhibit at the Cleveland Institute of Art, across the street.
About eats in the area, sadly Battuto is closing in Little Italy.

Attached is a link to the University Circle site (the museum is in University Circle) that includes a map and a list of restaurants:
http://www.universitycircle.org/cont...aurants_hotels
Many restaurants in that area cater to students, but others are more upscale.
I've never eaten at the Severance hall restaurant, but it certainly looks elegant. I don't know their hours, but their number is listed, and they are certainly convenient to the museum.
Little Italy is, generally, Mayfield road beyond circle drive (see site map). I think the walk is less than a mile, but that is a guess, and its up to each of us whether that is too far. They have many good places to eat there, but parking is always a problem.

I meant to say also that university circle used to have a free shuttle bus, but we never used it so I don't know the routes, nor if it is still running. If interested, ask at the information desk in the museum.

Almost all restaurants in Little Italy are good, just not all open for lunch. There is a restaurant near to Museum called That Place on Bellflower. Has a lovely outdoor patio. Again walking ,is still up to you. They have there own parking lot . Arty inside and a bit of everything to eat.Nice Casual dress.
