Budget Queen/Ketchikan and Victoria excursions.
Hi Budget Queen, We will be cruising July 13 on the NCL Pearl, to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria. I think we have an idea about our excursions...Juneau, we are just going to take the shuttle to Mendenhall Glacier and back into town to check out the Red Dog Saloon. Skagway we are booked on the round trip train ride for 3 1/2hrs. We don't have much time in Victoria and my husband isn't a garden touring person so I am thinking about just walking around, or taking the Victoria Ale Trail and Pubs tour. But the biggest dilema is in Ketchikan, we are in port from 6AM-1:30PM and I was looking to maybe take the Misty Fjords and Wilderness Explorer boat trip for 4 1/4 hrs. Will there be enough time to walk into town and shop, and will this boat ride be too long? Also we are spending enough on this trip and am trying to keep the excursion in the middle range. Thanks for your help.
