Went to Kayak.com and found a few places that would meet your needs, but NONE are a good price, IMO. Either you pay a lot more money than a typical rate ($306 for a Comfort Inn!) or you stay a bit far from Center City (airport, suburbs, New Jersey).

Some places would allow you to get to Center City by mass transit without too much trouble, but I won't guarantee you could leave your room and be there in fifteen minutes.

I think your best bet would be to take the closest room you can afford, find out how long it would take to get to where you're going, and then wake up early enough to do so.

I'm in the same boat. We're trying to find a room for Wednesday night. We have reservations at Vetri and can't believe there is nothing for that night. All those Penn people must be staying in town and partying.

Check the Fairview Inn in Wilmington DE. Hotel is about 2 miles from the Amtrak Station. Rooms from $64 MAY be available. the Amtrak fare from Wilmington to 30th St. Station is $25 one way
