Single 30 yr old female Solo Trip-Prague or Italy?

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to do a solo trip the first week of November alone, I am looking at doing Prague/Budapest or Rome and another city.

I am a savvy traveler, I have been around the world with my former husband and others, this will be my first international (aside from Mexico) trip alone.

Which trip do you think I would fit me best? I love to meet new people, eat, people watch, and do unique and different things while I travel.
Thank you!

I have been to prague & Budapest several times. While Ii like Prague, Budapest is my favorite city.
I would suggest Prague/Budapest. ( I have never been to Rome, but will this year, and like yourself this will be my first solo trip)
I personally do not think that Prague is a very friendly city. It is incredibly beautiful vut I have the locals there to be VERY rude. The only reason I continue to return is because it is on the way to my favorite city: Budapest
Budapest is not as beautiful as Prague, but it is pretty. The people there tend to be a bit shy at first, but if you make the effort, you will meet VERY nice people.
I also think that there is a lot more to do in Budapest than Prague.
I feel safe in both cities, but especially Budapest. Maybe because I know the city so well.
Also Budapest is not as touristy as Prague.
good luck.

I'm not sure we can help you decide. Which trip interests you more? There's nothing about any of those destinations that should be a problem traveling solo.

I think Rome and Florence would be beautiful. Prague and Budapest might be chilly in November.

Hi, I was in Italy, lived in Sicily for 2 months, have been to Rome and Budapest and now I live in Prague already for 4 years. I have to say, that Prague is the most beautiful city I have ever seen (except of Venezia - this one can be a big competitor).

Prague is great because the centre is in one place - all monuments, gardens, nice walks you have in centre that is quite little. If you go to Rome (I think everybody should go to the city of the cities) you will find out that there is no centre. They have got something really very nice here and then sth really very nice there. But you have to walk for a long time from one place to another place among the noisy streets... It's a pitty that Rome doesn't have a centre (means everything is in centre but there is no centre at all...)

See my website http://www.best-of-european-union.eu - I will add all the travel tips in Prague till November
