mailing clothes home from europe
will be on a cruise as part of our 3 weeks in Italy. would like to mail home the formal wear we need for the cruise so we don't want to carry it around but have never done this before. Has anyone mailed packages from Italy before? Should I bring a flat box with me along with tape, etc....

This should help: https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request?loc=en_CA
UPS, FedEx and I believe DHL are pretty much worldwide.
They have their own labeled boxes and will seal for you after they see what is inside. Clothes should be OK but anything dangerous or illegal will be rejected.

Within the US I have wrapped dirty clothes around something heavy I've bought on a trip and mailed it home in a USPS flat rate box. It sure beats carrying something you're not going to need for the rest of the trip.
