Your favorite place to lunch in Valparaiso/Vina Del Mar?
I guess the title says it all! We will be driving from Val to Santiago and visiting Vina del Mar and a winery and want a good place to eat. Not a hotel or a big expensive place with lots of tourists....If possible, a place that locals eat and with a view. I don't want much!

Oops, replying to my own post.

But, I KNOW that there are people out there that have enjoyed lunch in Valparaiso and/or Vina del Mar! So I thought I'd bump it up and hope.

Try the Casino Salvavidas right in the port. It is touristy, but what isn't in Valpo and Viña.

hate to admit it but didn't even know there was a Casino in the port. Guess I better do a lot more reading!

It is not a casino just a restaurant. Casino Salvavidas just means the Lifeboat People's lunch place.
