Where to Use Marriott Reward Points

My husband and I have lots of Marriott Reward points to cash in for 25th Anniversary trip in September. We can go pretty much anywhere in the world there is a Marriott or affiliate that will accept the rewards. We love Hawaii and have been sevaral times and would consider it again. Our qualifications would be a great beach and pool area and in an interesting location for day trips. . Any suggestions?

Yes, that place would be Rio de Janeiro.

I second the JW Marriott Cancun suggestion. It's a wonderful resort. It's much nicer than most other Marriotts, and it's featured in Conde Nast's Gold List for hotels in Latin America...

I have been to both hotels that are suggested both Cancun and the Rio Marriott. If it was me I would stay at the Rio De Janiero Marriott as it has plenty to offer being on Copacabana beach and in walking distance to all Rio has to offer. It is a new hotel with a roof top pool overlooking the best view in the world, can't be beat. Enjoy.
