Looking for travel agency or guide recommendation for Chiapas Mexico

I'm looking for a recomendation for a travel agent/tour guide who can arrange a driver/guide for a week's trip in the Chiapas area. I have one quote so far, and its about $2500 above what the actual hotel costs would be for our family, which seems steep for a week's guide & driver.

Any recommendations or comments on what would be an appropriate cost for about a week's transportation & guide would be appreciated.

We used Latin Destinations for a tour with two couples. The drivers/guides they hired were excellent and we were very pleased with all the arrangements. Additionally, they were flexible when we decided to take an afternoon off. Highly recommend. latindestinations.com

That's good to know, Trvlmaven. I've had Lacandona tours recommended to me also but haven't used them. I'm heading to Chiapas in June with a group in tow and appreciate the tip.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I've contacted all three tour agencies, hopefully we'll find something great.
