Riviera Maya Tour Recommendations?

I will be traveling to Riviera Maya in February and staying at the Grand Paladium Resorts, in the adult only suites. I am interested in doing a number of things while in area, but would only like to take one day to do them... if possible. Some of these include ziplining (through jungle), tour of the ruins (Tulum or Chichen Itza), and Ik Kil. Is it possible to all or one in a day and if not, which would be the best to see. Also, are there any particular tour companies hat are better to go through then others?

Contact Edventure Tours http://www.edventuretours.com.mx/
They will arrange you day for you, take you everywhere, and provide a guide. Just tell them what you want to do and it will be done! They have certain "set" tour days, but you can design your own also. They are wonderful and very dependable.

I can't recommend a tour company for Tulum or Chichen Itza both the day tours I took were disorganized.
I did go zip lining at Selvatica and I would recommend them, the zip line was great. You can combine two activities, like zip line and snorkeling/horse back riding, etc. However if you do this you spend less time at each activity. If you are only interested in zip lining book a zip lining only excursion.

One of the best one-day tours available has got to be the Maya Encounter Tour with Alltournative Offtrack Adventures. We got to go into a Mayan community, hiked in the jungle, zip lined, rapelled down into a cenote for a swim, canoed on the lake, had a lunch buffet, and climbed the pyramid at Coba (well, my son did all of that, I watched some and participated in some). Alltournative was amazing - the Maya Encounter was one of the most informative, socially responsible, and environmentally concerned tours I've been on - anywhere! The day provided physical activity and excitement, but also gave us the opportunity to learn so much. And the ruins at Coba are my favorite (I've been twice).

We did the Maya Encounter with Alltournative Tours and I'd agree with everything succeed says. It was an amazing day and probably the best excursion we've ever done in Mexico. In addition to the above comments, another great thing about it was they keep your group small - I believe we had about 5-7 people in our group. I would highly recommend any tour they offer, but the Maya Encounter was a great combo of activities and ruins.
