Dear Lola,
According to records, average temperature in October is 64F and it may get higher as you approach November, with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
October is usually more rainy than August.

I am thinking about visiting BA in late January or early February. I know that is summer and while weather.com says average highs are 85, I have read several publications that say it's stifling with temps in the upper 90's. They also said the city clears out and it may appear empty. Is this true? Sightseeing in that heat could be tough...
Also, anyone stay at the Intercontinental? I am considering that or the Four Seasons.....

TravelOne,
Thanks for your reply. I am from Washington so during the summer it's often about 90 degrees and humid. So when you say humid and scorching are we talking 100+ heat with Miami humidity levels? Or 80's and sticky? Just trying to figure out if it's worth going. Also, when you say may folks go to the coast, does the city completely empty out? Don't want to walk around and expect tumbleweeds to roll across the street!
Many thanks!

It is variable. I had just missed a stretch of 100 degrees F. When I arrived it was 80+ and the worst I had was low 90's, and humid.
BA has 12 million people. There are always lots of people, and traffic. I would not call BA a dull city. I enjoyed spending 3 weeks there. I regret not having the time to go to Mendoza.
