Isn't 80 a little warm for BA in August?

I have BAs weather on my hompage. Isn't it unusually warm for winter?

I am planning for spring in October not summer heat!

Quite unusual. You should have some warm weather clothing available for your forthcoming visit.

Yeh, you're right that is unusual, but the weather has been very nice recently! Spring officially starts around the 21st September and so October is always a lovely month, just remember it stays warm in the evenings... the summer heat doesnt really get going until mid December, so you'll be fine!

Have a great time down here!

You are absolutely right! Quite unusual! but apparently next week temperature will go down to nearly 40... It seems Santa Rosa storm is coming...
You will be fine during October but as soulskier said: you never know! Follow avrooster's advice of bringing some summer weather clothing and you'll be ok.
The really high temperatures start in late November-early December.
