Where to buy ice packs in Paris (in 7th?)

Hi everyone,
Strange request I know... is there a supermarket or other store near Rue Cler that might sell the plastic refreezable ice packs? Our last time in Paris we brought a couple from home because our child was on medication that required refrigeration on the flight. This time, we don't *need* to bring them but they do come in handy for packing lunches each day, and I've thought about either throwing a couple in my carry on, or buying a couple once we land and get settled into the apartment. And frankly, even if I bring a couple, I might like a larger one for the week we spend driving around the Loire valley. So if they're easy to find in Paris (I've never looked for them), I'd rather not have to hassle with bringing them from home. And don't the funny gel packs look suspicious on the x-rays.

I don't know if Monoprix sells them, or if there's another type of supermarket or hardware or housewares type store near the Rue Cler near our apartment.

Thanks for the advice.

There's a FRanprix on rue Cler and a large supermarket at the Ecole Militaire metro. What would need refrigerant for a morning for a lunch?
Driving through the Loire--where will you refreeze them? You could freeze water in ziplocks.

If you can't find any you might want to freeze a few small water or juice bottles. As they thaw during the day you have some nice cold water to drink also. Just a thought. This is what we usually do.

I would imagine they'd have that in Monoprix (or Carrefour if you can find one, there aren't a lot but there is one in the 15th arr near place Charles Michels at 154 rue St Charles, and there is a huge Monoprix near that metro, also, on rue Linois). There is a Carrefour on rue St Dominique in the 7th, also (these are small Carrefours for the city).

If not, they have them in the camping store, Au Vieux Campeur which is in the Latin Qtr near the Seine (I think on Sommerard, it's a huge complex).

Zola Color, a huge hardware and household goods store right at metro Charles Michels would almost certainly have that item.
