Two hours in London????
If you only had two hours to spend in London what would be the one thing you would want to do? I guess I am looking for the most exciting things to do while we are there next month. What did you love the best?

Thanks,
Robbyn

Robyn:
Hope you are just joking or want to start a thread a mile long.

Assuming your are flying into London, and assuming your flight is on time, your will have just enough time to take a taxi into London from either of the airports and turn around again. Sorry, I can't think of anything you would want to do in two hours, unless you could catch a helicopter sightseeing flight at the airport and fly over London.

British Museum: them Brits - er - gathered cool stuff from their colonies.

If you're a first time visitor, I recommend one of the double-decker bus tours. Great way to see everything in two hours.

Or spend two hours in Harrod's...

Robbyn--
I think the other suggestions so far have omitted my favorite, and the most intriguing of all the sights in London to me: the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square. Unless you dislike art, you could spend your entire 3 days there and love it. It's certainly worth a few hours. They even have a neat little restaurant where you can grab a snack for lunch. Aside from the National Gallery and all the other good recommendations, I would add the British Air Museum with its old WWII aircraft, many of which you can't see anywhere else--but I'm an ex-pilot and maybe am a bit biased.
