Everyone here stays at either the Flora, the Accademia, or the Locanda Sturion. You won't likely find a recommendation either way until some point way in the future.

Beatriz, it's a perfectly acceptable three-star hotel. A room in the front and you have a view of the Grand Canal.

Have a great time.

Beatriz--
I can only say that I've walked past the Wildner probably a hundred times in my visits to Venice. I have been in the lobby, but not in the rooms. It seems to be a nice place, not plush or luxury, but nice and right on the Grand Canal. You can eat on the patio out front with a nice view of the water and the passing people.

I would also like to know if the Pensoine Wildner is a clean hotel. It is about $200 a night.

Hi, haven't stayed there, but my reliable "Cheap Sleeps in Italy" says
"same views and exposure <as the Danieli>...but hardly a palace...dated it is, expensive it is not. If you stay here you want a view room and #16 is a good one....the hotel operates a restaurant but it is touristy."

I believe it is a 2-star, not a 3.
