Sweden to Milano
hi, I wanna go from Sweden to Milano. can any one let me know, how can go from Sweden to Milano in cheap and I have luggage more that 30 KG. So if I go by plane then I need to go with this 30 KG and more. So is there any cheap flight who will allow me to carry a luggage 30 KG.

Hi,
There are no cheap airlinetickets with 30 kgs baggage allowance.
Airlines flying non stop between Stockholm and Milano are:
Scandinavian Airlines, Stockholm/Arlanda - Milano/Linate, ONE bag with a max weight of 23 kgs are allowed at no extra charge.
Lufthansa Stockholm/Arlanda - Milano/Malpensa, probably similar allowances as Scandinavian Airlines
and then, of course, you have Ryanair flying from Stockholm/Skavsta to Milano/Bergamo. But they will charge you a lot for 30 kgs.
30 kgs sounds to me to be close to maximum luggage allowance for a business class ticket.
I have no idea about how much Scandinavian Airlines or Lufthansa will charge you for the extra kilos above the free allowance of 23 kgs.

For train schedules for all of europe look at he bahn.de website. It can give you prices - you would have to check those out locally.
The trip takes 27 or 28 hours - but some trips have as few as 2 changes.

I checked prices for checked in luggage on Ryanair. Since you can find a dirt cheap ticket from Stockholm to Milano if you book well in advance, Ryanair could actually be an option. If you fly with Ryanair you must pack your things carefully so that you end up with two bags. Ryanair allows you to check in 1 bag up to 20 kgs and a second bag up to 15 kgs. Depending on when you are flying and the weight of the first bag they will charge you 15 - 30 euros for the first bag and 35 - 40 euros for the second bag. Check all details on ryanair.com
If you decide to go for Ryanair, check the rules very carefully since they will show you no mercy if you don't meet their rules.

That is the GERMAN rail site. It gives prices only for trips starting in Germany. But it does have the best listing of trains. to get a price for a trip starting in Sweden you will need to contact the Swedish railway.
(Unless you have some sort of rail pass - you need to find out the ticket prices from the official RR in the country you're starting from - wherever that is.

I can't check Ryanair's policies for you. I do agree that the rules are not perfectly clear. When reading the link you provided it is a bit confusing if you are allowed to check in 15 kilos or 20 kilos or 35 kilos. The thing about 32 kilos is probably that they will never under no circumstances check in a bag exceeding 32 kilos. I suggest you send them an e-mail if they have that sort of service for their customers.
I tried to make a booking and the only options I got for checked in luggage was 1 bag 15 kgs or 1 bag 20 kgs. I did never get an option to add a second bag.
The only thing I DO know is that you ALWAYS have to pay for checked in luggage. It's is NEVER free. The only luggage that is free is ONE piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 10 kilos.
So I guess it should be ok to check in 1 bag 20 kgs for a cost and take 1 bag 10 kgs in the cabin for free. Alltogether 30 kgs.

Cabin luggage is free, with max 10kg and the given size restrictions. Expects both to be checked to the last 100 grams or single one centimeter.

If you get a low-cost fare for appr. €25, and add the regular fees for this and that, and €30 for the max checked luggage, the final fare should be in the vicinity or €60-70.
If you have more than the combined 30kgs, the only way to get it transported will be to have the excess kilos in your checked luggage. You will pay €20 (or equivalent in SEK) for each kilo.
While this can add up, it may still be much cheaper than a very expensive one-way ticket with SAS - or even the train ticket. BTW, taking the train will take ridiciously long.

Norwegian allow you to check 2 bags of 20 kgs each for a very reasonable price.
You can fly on Norwegian from Stockholm to Venice and go from there by train to Milan.
Norwegian have other routes from Scandinavian countries to northern Italy. Check their web site for more info.
