shared viena airport shuttle?

I canīt find the card i got some years ago about a reasonably priced shared shuttle from VIE to town.
maybe you can help!

Anyone done that recently?

I see online shuttles for 38 euros up to 4 people. is there anything less than that.. or is that really the same price as a taxi anyway?

there are only two of us and do not want to take the train because once when i did that we still had to walk to get a taxi to the hotel, which on this trip we cannot do because of minor long distance walking issues with my mom...

we will be going to the sofitel, if that is of any importance.

This may not be what you are looking for but I found the following names on this forum a few weeks ago.

www.airportservice.at/airport.htm

www.airportdriver.at/

If you find a better service or shuttle please let me know as I'm looking at options for a June trip.

If reasonable is what you seek, why not the train? It leaves from the airport terminal, easy to board, easy to ticket, it's fast, and reasonable (memory, however faint, suggests €5). Oh, did I mention, no need to tip?

i agree, on my other visits the normal train is the way to go unless there are several of you and you can share an inexpensive service/taxi.

this trip though was conditioned by my elderly mother. it worked out great, though.
