Seville Rental Car Pick up

Is the airport or the train station the most convenient/easiest to pick up a rental car on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. (toward the end of the April Fair) and leave Seville for Arcos.

It probably depends on where you are coming from. The train station is in town, the airport not far out of town. I'm picking up mine at the train station in a few weeks, so if you wait for my trip report at the end of February, I'll let you know how it goes.

kc3305,
Our rule of thumb in Seville through our own experience is:
for pick up,
taxi to Santa Justa train station, as getting out of the city on the ring road from station is easier than getting in to station, due to rush hr. congestion.

for drop off,
at airport, even when coming from the south, avoiding entering the city traffic, then taxi to our hotel, even if taxi fare is 20 euros. To us it's worth it, and drop off at the airport is simple.

The train station is likely to be more convinient to your starting point. I dropped a car off there and had no trouble at all.

We did exactly the same itinerary last year. We took a taxi from our hotel to the train station and picked up the car there. We got out of town just fine. Obviously, however, you need one person to be a navigator for the driver. One thing you can do before you go is to go to the Michelin site and print out detailed instructions on how to get from the train station to the road you are looking for.
