Weese Train Station to Weese Airport - time needed

I have booked an air ticket from Ryainair by mistake leaving at Weese airport.

If I reach Weese by train at 6.45 pm, can I make it in time to catch the 7.55 pm flight ?

Minimum check-in time is 40 mins but how long will it take me from the train station to the check in counter ? How far is it ?

I assume you mean Weeze. From Weeze train station, driving time to the airport is ten minutes. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, but it might cost some additional minutes, compared to a taxi (I hope there ARE taxis at the tiny station). If the train is on time, it might work - but it IS very tight. I would take an earlier train.

Always keep in mind that Ryanair uses any chance to rip-off their customers.

Thank you. Unfortunately, an earlier train is some hours earlier that will spoil my day.

From your knowledge, will train delay ?

You could call for a taxi before you arrive at the station. That way, you can get off the train, right in to a car, and get to the station between 7 and 7:10.

Delays are always a risk - depending on where you are starting your journey and how many transfers you are making. Really, everything would have to go RIGHT for this to work out well.

Chances that the train is delayed by 10 minutes or more are high enough to avoid that risk. And what, if you can't get a taxi? Weeze is a tiny village, there are not ten taxis waiting at the station.

>>>an earlier train is some hours earlier

I agree with Echnaton - tell us your itinerary and we'll double check train times. There should be alternatives that don't leave you cutting it so close.

Thanks.

I am trying to do the Rhine Romantic Cruise(or just the best part) plus trains, but too difficult to check the train lines, every town has several stops, I don't know which is correct.
I will arrive Dusselfdorf airport before 9 am and leave from Ryanair's WEEZE at 7.55 pm flight the next day. I can stay the night anywhere as long as I can do the best part of the Rhine and visit the Cologne Cathedral. If not, I will skip Rhine and visit Aachen.
