Scorpion Delays British Train!

From Thomas Cook Timetable E-mail:

NEWS: SCORPION DELAYS TRAIN!
Passengers travelling on the 14:30 train from London King's Cross to Edinburgh on New Year's Day were given a fright after a scorpion was spotted. The pet which is thought to have come from Guatemala crawled out of an ice cream container belonging to a passenger on the Virgin Trains East Coast service. It meant passengers were held up for around eight minutes at Peterborough while the affected carriage was sealed off and checked. British Transport Police quickly recaptured the creature and took it to an exotic pet rescue centre in Lincolnshire where it now has a new home and has just given birth!

I wonder how many scorpion babies would have been hatched on that train if they hadn't caught it.

Being born in the UK but from a presumed illegal alien will the baby scorpions be considered UK citizens or will they be deported to Whatamala?

Oh my. I was eating in a place in Key West last week when one was climbing up the wall next to my chair. I stabbed it with my knife. I think all sorts of stuff come in banana boxes. I often check mine before throwing in the cart.
