Premier Inns, London location
Right now, the most inexpensive Premier Inn for our dates is Euston.
We have been to London many times and have stayed in lots of different locations. I'm not really looking for charm, but some of the things I would like would be a central location and access to some quick snack shopping and cafes.
What do you think of Euston? Any recs for other Premier Inns?
We will be coming in from Heathrow and leaving on a train to Guildford.
We probably don't want an apartment this trip but I do have several bookmarked.
Thanks

I stayed at the Premier Inn St Pancras, on Euston road.
Very conveniently located, quite ok - less charm (no charm) than others but half the price of my previous stay...
However not so many restaurants... my worst of the decade was a chinese 5 min on walk - avoid at all cost !

There are lots of dining option -- Just IN St Pancras station there are many.

Plus in the St Pancras hotel. Plus all kinds of casual places around Euston.

Euston is fine, but the one I very often stay in (three times so far this year) is the Premier Inn Hampstead. It's actually in a neighbourhood called Belsize Park - nice, residential area with some decent restaurants, a small supermarket, a drugstore, a branch of Daunt's Books, etc. It's only about 10 minutes from Euston station on the Northern line, and about 15 minutes from central London. It's also among the cheaper branches.

Thanks for the advice and tips. I really appreciate them.
I went on Booking.com tonight and there are other nice deals for our dates, too. I will check the Ibis.
As I said, we really aren't after atmosphere, but want convenience. I have never stayed at a Premier Inn myself, but like the idea of the King size bed and kettle in room.
Apex sent an email for a Black Friday sale, so I'm going to wait until then to decide, It's only a day and a half away. I know that Apex London hotels aren't in the perfect locations, but they are a chain that we really like.

tuscanlifeedit: If you can get the Apex Temple Court -- nothing wrong w/ that location.
Close to the Strand, Somerset House, the River, Temple Church, etc. - and lots of buses including the very useful #15 run past it.
