The Holiday Inn Kensington Forum was perfectly fine.

Many people recommend the Holiday Inn Mayfair.

Both would be pretty convenient for a visit to London.

Have stayed at the Holiday Inn-Mayfair. It is literally around the corner from the Green Park tube stop; within easy walking distance to Piccadilly Circus. Rooms tend to be a bit small IMO; get a rate that includes breakfast.

re: Mayfair HI

...the current advanced purchase rate (without breakfast) is £120. The location is about as central and upscale as you can get in London.

The Holiday Inn Mayfair is a typical big city, "American-style" hotel with airconditioning. What it lacks in local charm is made up by the absence of local quirks, in my humble opinion.

Holiday Inn Kensington Forum was very nice and a bargain on Priceline for $75 per night. One block from the tube, very easy connections.
