PORT MAILLOT - Closest lugagge Locker???

I'll be arriving from Orly Airport by RER C directly to Port Maillot to pick up the bus to Beauvais Airport. The problem is that Ryanair won't allow me to take all the lugagge I'll have with me so I need to leave it SOMEWHERE AROUND PORT MAILLOT to leave the biggest out of my two bags for a week. I know this is a tuff one but anyone has a suggestion?

Gare Montparnasse has luggage lockers. I am not sure how long they will let you leave the bags though. Are you staying in Paris when you get back? Perhaps the hotel that you are using in Paris will store them ?

Get off RER C at Austerlitz and there is a luggage depot open there - has lockers but lockers can only be used for up to 72 hours - after that there is a sign that the locker will be emptied and you'll pay a daily fee per bag. But best to tell the staff there you want to leave for a week. Not sure they will officially allow this. Don't know any place in Paris that stores bags for longer than 3-day max lockers - and maybe you can leave it there longer, i don't know. and there may be places in Paris to store things. I suggest you e-mail or call the Paris Tourist Office. Nothing in Beauvais train station - no baggage storage at all. If you'll be staying in a Paris hotel ask them to store it for you for a week.
this is a tough one - maybe some Fodorwhizz will know.

All the train stations with lockers have the 72-hour limit (48 hrs at Gare du Nord) with the sign that baggage will be removed - vague about what happens after it is so best to call the station itself and talk to the consignes (baggage) depot. Hotel would be the best bet.

Hi F,

>I'll be arriving from Orly Airport by RER C directly to Port Maillot ...<

Are you sure of this? My map shows Orly served by RER B.

www.ratp.fr shows you taking the RER B.

The closest train station, where you can put your luggage, is Gare Montparnasse.

He does mean RER C because that is the one that goes to Porte Maillot, so that is the one he would be using. Also, RER C does have a stop at Orly Aeroport/Pont de Rungis. In fact, RER C is the only line that actually has stops called Orly (two, Orly-Ville and Orly Aeroport). RER B stops at Antony for Orly connection. I don't know why RATP would suggest using RER B to get from Orly to Porte Maillot, as that line doesn't go there.
