Please help pick a 10th anniverary luxury Mykonos hotel

Hello! After much back and forth over which islands to visit for our 10th anniversary, we've decided to keep it simple and nostalgic and return to our honeymoon spots: Mykonos and Santorini. On Santorini, we're going to stay at our honeymoon hotel (Katikies) because it was just perfect. On Mykonos, we honeymooned at Mykonos Blu, but we'd like to try something else this time. It was a bit too large and impersonal for us, although we did enjoy Psarou beach. We really like boutique style, and views and service are the top priorities for us. We want to relax and be pampered (finally away from our 3 small kids!), but we will likely venture into town for drinks/dinner each night. I think we've narrowed it to Bill & Coo Suites and Petasos Beach Resort. I realize they are opposites! Which would you choose for general chill, luxury vibe, view, and experience? Or is there another you'd recommend? Is Petasos Beach too large to give us the intimate feel that we love at Katikies? Mykonos Grand isn't an option for our dates (it's 2000 Euros/night). The other two priced at 315 and 380, which is about our limit for price. Thanks for any suggestions!

Here are the four Virtuoso hotels on Mykonos: http://tinyurl.com/kla4vk8

You get special amenities on each of these when booking through a Virtuoso agent, all at the same price you'd otherwise pay — things like free breakfast for two and upgrades if available at all four and extra amenities like resort credits at the others (they differ by resort).

Virtuoso.com is a good resource for researching deal at luxury hotels and resorts.

I do like the look of cavo tagoo also. It seems similar to bill & coo. Any thoughts on preference between those two for a walk to town place? Are they on the same general area?

I've stayed at Santa Marina and liked it. They have their own beach, which was great.

Stayed at Petasos Beach. Not a boutique feel. Very nice but perhaps larger, less personal than you desire.

Cavo Tagoo is one of the top hotels of Mykonos, located about 700 meters away from the town of Mykonos on the road to Agios Stefanos
You can walk to the town, but on a road with much traffic and without any lights at night.
Even though there is a beach near the hotel, it is not a beach for swimming.

Bill & Coo is an excellent hotel as well, but i would personally stay at the Cavo Tagoo.

Why such a high price for Mykonos Grand? Do they have only suites left for your dates? Check directly on their own website if you haven't already: http://www.mykonosgrand.gr. Last time I looked, their rooms were in the €300-400 range, but I don't remember for what time of year.

They did have only suites, but I actually checked again today and found a regular sea view room for 380 Euros. It looks like a beautiful place to relax. Now the decision s whether we want to stay within walking distance to town, or depend on the hotel shuttle to go out in the evenings.

I've never stayed at Mykonos Grand, but love Agios Ioannis beach where the hotel is located. Beautiful sunsets from there! I think that would be worth the bother of taking the hotel shuttle or bus into town, only about 15 minutes, as I recall.

I am guessing this isn't luxurious enough for you, but it is in the same area as Mykonos Grand
