one last portugal car rental question
It looks like the price from renting from the airport (Lisbon) and City Center Tivoli is about the same. Which will be easier driving wise if our first stop is Evora? Thanks

oh dear BomDia, obrigada! and the same to you Robert, most appreciated; as it will be our first driving in Portugal will the roads be easier out of central Lisbon or from the airport - I think that would be the biggest issue for me.

The airport rental location is still in Lisbon.
Like i said in another thread, most of the airport is located inside the city, with the exception of part of the main runway and the military airbase.
From the airport you're near the Vasco da Gama Bridge, so it's quite easy:
1) Airport > take Avenue of Berlim, and turn left (after the first roundabout and viaduct) to Avenue Cidade do Porto (Direction A1-North, Vasco da Gama Bridge)
2)Follow the Avenue until it reaches the Second Circular highway (also part of the European Route 01 - E01) and go straight ahead.
3) Then about 3km's or something, just before it reaches the A1, you turn right and take the IC17/CRIL highway to the Vasco da Gama Bridge (also A12/IP1 highway), then you just need to cross the bridge and follow the A12/IP1 until Palmela, where you take the A2/IP1 highway at the Algarve-Évora exit.
4) Then take the A6 at the Spain-Évora exit, and that's it.
