Northern Italy driving route

Jump to last reply

We are looking for the best route to drive from northeastern Italy to Monaco. We are coming in From Austria - at Heiligenblut on Monday September 24th and hope to be in Monaco for and overnight on Wednesday night.

We'd think we'd like to drive though Conozai in the Dolomites and maybe take a cablecar up to enjoy a view (and be OUT of the car for a moment...) Also have heard about how much fun doing a Rodelbahn is and would like to make sure we have an opportunity to do that. Seeing some of the Lake region (Como or wherever) would be great even if just a drive-by.

We know most of the three days will be in the car are asking for suggestions for the most scenic route with suggestions for comfortable villages to sleep in enroute.

Thank you!
