Need a car rental in Germany!

Just booked through Enterprise. They have a spring special going on right now for Germany. The dates are March 14th through April 7th. They are offering 50% daily rates. I booked a Ford Ka for nine days out of Frankfurt for 140 euros. Thought this migh help someone else with an upcoming trip! Jennifer

Hi J,

How did that price compare to www.autoeurope.com?

Hello Ira! Autoeurope.com was much higher. In U.S. dollars, Enterprise will be $207. For Autoeurope the quote was $320. So Enterprise is saving us $121. Before finding this new Spring Special(just yesterday) we were going to go through Kemwell, they had Autoeurope beat by about $50. Good luck! Jennifer

Are you picking the car up at the airport or in Frankfurt? Does that rate include taxes?

I do see where AutoEurope has a free one class upgrade which we have received the last couple of yrs. But if you are happy with a Ka then that's probably a great deal!

A Ford Ka is a VERY small car.

But for a lady, it might fit.

Yes, we wanted the Ford Ka. We prefer a small car while driving in Europe. Yes, it included the taxes. We are picking it up at the location that services the FRA airport called Mainzer Landster. Hope that answers everyones questions.

The Ka is a wonderful car. It is lively and handles well. It doesn't feel like a small car in the front (though it feels like a very small car in the back . Just don't try putting the airco on (if you have a model with airco) when you want to accelerate - the engine can't cope with both. I speak from experience having owned, and loved a Ka. Had to sell it to get something my dogs would fit in, but I do miss it.
