Marineland
Has anyone ever visited Marineland in Biot? I would like to take my kids somewhere fun for a day. This looks like a great place but I would love to hear some personal experience. Thanks

I've been there a couple of times with my kids; it's a nice place to visit; there's a fairly new orca show, plus the usual dolphin and sealion shows. The children enjoyed it. The comment at the shows is only in French (as you would expect), and can sometimes become a bit tedious to the children.
My eldest children (11 and 13) now prefer Aquasplash.
And as Underhill says; the glassblowers in Biot are good too.

And at Biot there is also a permanent in summer carnival.
Strange that folks there seem to pronounce it "Bee-ot" not Bee-oh as i would have thunk. At least when i camped in the camping there the camp owner said bee-ott, i assume he had it right!

You're right PalQ; that's how they pronounce it; with an audible T at the end.
With carnival do you mean the fair that is on the other side of the street when you drive to Marine land? I've never been; it's only open in the evenings. It seems more something for older children, teenagers. There are some 'thrill' rides and things like that.
