March apartment in Sorrento

My husband and I are planning a trip to Italy in March. We are taking our two teenage daughters. We are considering renting an apartment in Sorrento and using that as a base to explore that general area. Our preference would be something in town with a sea view. Any suggestions? Has anyone stayed in Appartamento Isabella (summerinitaly.com) or Apartment Escape (Scentofsorrento.com)?

I haven't stayed at the following villa right in Sorrento but it gets good reviews here (you can search for reviews):

You do realize that in March a lot of places may not be open full-time and that any sort of boat/ferry service will be few/far between - and possibly not running at all if the weather is bad? IMHO not the best time of year for this area - where you want to do mostly outdoor things.

I am aware March is not the ideal time to travel to Italy (or probably anywhere in Europe). But our daughters' school schedules and summer athletic committments leave us with little flexilbity. Is March simply a time of year when so much is shut down that we are wasting our time? What about areas north? We have enjoyed that in the past and I'm sure we would again but would enjoy an opportunity to see something new.

I've been to Sorrento in March and it was very much open. It's spring break for many American schools so there are lots of tour groups. We ferried from Naples to Capri and Capri to Sorrento. The weather was sunny and warm during the day but cooled off at night.

You might try venere.com for apartments or sorrentoinfo.com
